Anton Alright. Let me ask you something. If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?
Carson
Do you have any idea how crazy you are?
Anton
You mean the nature of this conversation?
Carson
I mean the nature of you.
This is from the movie No Country for Old Men.
This is one of my favorite scenes from the movie because it is the only time the main villain is told, face to face, that he's crazy.
I have heard of this movie but never seen it. After reading this brief dialogue I want too. Sounds like an intense scene. I really like the last two lines.

ReplyDeleteI thought this movie was rather slowly paced, but as the dialogue above suggests, it certainly has its merits.
